Steam Free Mirror Pads

Keep your mirror steam free the moment you step out of your bath or shower with our Steam Free Mirror pads.

Simply peel off the backing and stick the pad to the back of the mirror, then wire it to the lighting circuit (or circuit of your choice) and away you go.

Our mirror pads are manufactured in the UK, not in China like some other websites offer - giving you the assurance of a safe and quality product you can enjoy time after time.

Running costs are very minimal around 2-3pence for an hours use of an average size mirror pad.

FAQs

Can the steam free mirror pad be cut?

No. This will damage the insulation rendering it dangerous.

How much of the mirror should a steam free pad cover?

This depends on what area is required to be clear. The area of the mirror that will remain steam free is the area
of the Pad plus approximately 20%-30% area around it.

Can the pads be used with safety backed mirrors?

Yes, but the backing should be earthed as should all metal parts surrounding the mirror.

Is a transformer required?

We only retail 230v models so a transformer is only required with low volt models.

Can more than 1 pad be fitted to a mirror?

Yes, within the limitations of the available power. They should then be fitted in parallel.

What adhesive should be used to bond the mirror to the wall?

Any solvent free adhesive suitable for mirrors, click here to purchase

Can the mirror adhesive be applied across the steam free mirror pad?

Yes.

Can the pad be used with a dimmer switch?

This is not advisable as when turned down there would be insufficient power for the pad to be fully effective.
