Measure & Fitting
We offer a measure and fitting service for your made to measure mirrors. For more complex mirrors, we will take a 'template' of the area and then have the mirror cut to the size and shape of the template. Here are some ideas of how some of our customers have used made to measure mirrors

Mr Daniels in Reading decided to have a made to measure mirror for his bathroom. He wanted to recess it into the wall and have no fixings visable. We suggested a cut to size mirror in traditional silver with a decorative bevelled edge, fixed to the wall with mirror adhesive so no fixings where seen. We also safety backed the mirror with a special foil backing which is suitable for using with adhesive and to preserve the silving of the mirror for many years

Mrs Sheego in Manchester wanted her chimney-breast to be fully mirrored. Our team visited the property to measure up the area and provide recommendations. We later returned with with the made to measure mirrors and installed them.

Dr. White from Birmingham wanted made to measure mirrors to replace the mirrors in his wardrobe door that where broken. The mirrors where supplied with polished edges and was safety backed in case any accidents occured.

A primary school in Lancashire asked us to design an acrylic mirror with a fun design with their logo placed on to the mirror. The acrylic mirror was cut to size and design placed onto the mirror.

A gym wanted mirrors in their new, recently renovated dance studio and before renovation, normal framed mirrors where used. After a recent survey the gym found that their members wanted to be able to see their positioning and that of their peers whilst learning new dance routines. The gym asked A1 Mirrors to visit them on location, take measurements and provide recommendations. We supplied several large mirrors made to measure, to fit an entire wall. The mirrors where safety backed to comply with British Safety Standards BS EN 12600 2(B2). Our team also delivered to site and installed the mirrors within a couple of hours.

A new Verterinary surgery contacted us for several mirror and glass requirements. They wanted made to measure mirrors to fit in their reception area and also a two way mirror between the main office and reception area. Each mirror was then customised to include the Vet's logo which was placed onto the face of the mirror. The mirrors where fixed using screws and where safety backed should any accidents occured. 

A sensory studio in the Midlands used our two-way mirror to place objects behind and once lit, the objects became visable. A deep frame was made in the wall so the object could sit within it and a two way mirror cut to size. The two way glass was a laminate version so provided the necessary safety features for a sensory studio. The mirror is able to slot out of the frame to allow staff to easily change the objects. 

We recently provided made to measure circular mirrors for a customer who wanted to renovate some old antique frames. A simple paper template of the shape was sent to us and from this we where able to create the mirror to the exact size and shape.
